DPYD Nudge Test
The DPYD Nudge Test analyses a patient’s DNA to predict how they will respond to fluoropyrimidines, a class of chemotherapy agents. The results help healthcare professionals to select the most effective and safe dosages, and treatment plans based on individual genetic differences.
Designed for trained healthcare professionals, it provides genetic information to help clinicians determine a treatment strategy for fluoropyrimidine medicines alongside clinical assessment.
What the DPYD Nudge Test identifies.

c.1679T>G (*13)
c.2846A>T
c.557A>G
c.1129-5923C>G
c.1129-5923C>G, c.1236G>A (HapB3)
Genetic variants tested
The test identifies selected DPYD variants to help clinicians determine a treatment strategy for fluoropyrimidine medicines. It does not predict drug response or non-response.
Supporting treatment decisions
How testing works
01
Collect and prepare
the sample
A buccal swab sample is collected and
the sample prepared in the
Nudge Buffer Tube.
02
Load
the cartridge
One drop of the sample solution is loaded into the DPYD Nudge Cartridge.
03
Run
the test
The NudgeBox® analyses the sample with results sent to the operator app in around an hour.
